About Dorian:
Information About Dorian Angebrandt, LCSW
Dorian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Indiana. Dorian is the founder of Choices in Counseling, LLC through which he currently provides professional, comprehensive, accessible tele-health counseling and mentoring services to individuals of all ages across Indiana.
Dorian has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults of diverse backgrounds. His experience includes providing Vocational Rehabilitation Services to adults, working with youth involved in Foster Care, directing a partial hospitalization program for elementary aged children, crisis intervention and assessment, and providing individual, couples and family therapy services for the last 20 years.
Dorian’s treatment style emphasizes traditional cognitive behavioral therapy while also incorporating strengths based, systems and solutions focused approaches. Mr. Angebrandt obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitative Science, with a focus on Interpersonal Counseling and a Minor in Psychology from Penn State University. He received his Master’s in Social Work Degree from Indiana University.
Dorian’s interest in private practice was driven by increased limitations and constraints in providing services to clients within the mental health center environment. It is his belief that by operating under a private practice model, he is better able to offer more individualized, comprehensive, quality services to clients.
